Ming and Hong
Project for MA Illustration at Camberwell College of Arts, 2021
This story comes from interviewing my mom and Dad about the eighties. I found them growing up in the city and in the countryside, and their love of poetry brought them together in the city. So I turned the story into a 24-page nonfiction children’s picture book, showing the changes and contrasts between urban and rural China in the 1980s.
